What to include
- Your Chrome version, from
chrome://version. - Whether the page is a Jira Cloud ticket, and the site hostname if you can share it.
- What you expected, and what the popup showed instead.
- The issue key, if you are comfortable sharing just the key.
Leave ticket descriptions, comments, and files out of the email unless you mean to share them. The developer does not already have that content, and most questions can be answered without it.
What support can help with
The popup not recognizing a tab, Copy prompt or Copy image failing, auto-open, and questions about the privacy policy. Jira project permissions, workflow changes, and the coding agent you paste into are outside this extension. Access to a Jira ticket is controlled by your Jira administrator.
Common questions
Which Jira sites does it run on?
Jira Cloud tickets on *.atlassian.net and *.jira.com, on browse, issue, and project pages. Confluence (/wiki) and Jira settings pages are excluded. Jira Server and Jira Data Center are not supported.
Does opening the popup copy the ticket?
No. The prompt appears in the popup. Copy prompt and Copy image write to the clipboard only after you click them. Auto-open, when you turn it on, only opens the popup or badges the icon.
Where does the ticket text go?
It is processed in your browser. There is no developer server, account, analytics, or telemetry. Network requests go to your Jira site and, when Jira redirects an attachment, to Atlassian’s media host. See the privacy policy for the full account.
What is saved on this computer?
Two settings: your custom instructions, and whether auto-open is on. Ticket content is not stored. Uninstalling the extension removes those settings. Clearing the instructions and turning auto-open off clears them while the extension stays installed.
Can you delete a ticket the extension processed?
There is no copy on a server to delete. A request to the developer cannot retrieve or erase a Jira ticket. Remove local settings as above, and clear your clipboard if you copied the prompt.
Which Chrome version do I need?
Chrome 116 or newer. Auto-open can open the popup itself on Chrome 127 and newer. On older versions it shows a badge on the toolbar icon.
Why is an image a preview and not the full file?
Previews are loaded while the popup is open and are size-limited. The full image, up to 12 MB, is downloaded when you click Copy image. The open button loads the attachment from Jira in a new tab.
